Try to capture a little glow. I don't know if that is helpful...? Our tree is not up yet so I'll face the same issue in another week. It was still hard to choose! Sometime photo editing programs like Picasa or Picnik help with lighting and things! Good luck and I am loving the tree so far!! That little acorn is my favorite! :)michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17757389045798739976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8579907652198630697.post-64941606999227814002010-11-30T08:05:42.287-06:002010-11-30T08:05:42.287-06:00Had the same issues yesterday! Would love to fiqure it out.
And of course you and I have the same ornament taste. The top left one is one of my favorites that goes on the tree. And the acorn reminds me that mine are missing in a box somewhere..guess i need to hit the attic again..LOL And did you go back on Picnik? After you edit there is a tab that says Save and Share. I just save mine to my desktop..use it than recycle it. Picnik saves it in your history anyways.
Ok....happy decorating and picture taking. As a '...Loving the sneak peak. Looks fabulous!

As a 'photographer' myself [well... I like to think of myself as one lol!], natural light, of course, is the best way to go. Avoid using flash and im not sure what kind of settings are on the Kodak camera but if there is any kind of setting for adjusting the white balance, play around with that setting, along with the natural light, until you get the right amount of light within the photo.

If you take photos at night or it's really cloudy out, fluorescent light works best [incandescent lights makes photos look to 'yellow'].

Lastly... photo programs like Picasa [Free from Google] have the tools to adjust the fill-light, contrast and brightness.

If you have photoshop you can open your picture [open as] in Camera Raw mode and adjust the exposure, lighting, fill light... etc... Manually within that program. :)KLMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12693335306875099367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8579907652198630697.post-33954379867572803132010-11-30T06:19:05.056-06:002010-11-30T06:19:05.056-06:00I'll definitely be waiting for those tips!
