Chalkboard Tags

I first saw these little chalkboard labels at Pottery Barn Kids. So cute and so easy to make yourself.

This was such a quick and inexpensive project to do.

I found my wooden labels at Hobby Lobby for less than fifty cents each. They had a few different styles to choose from. I drilled two holes and painted them with my well used chalkboard paint.

A little ribbon and you're done!

I'm using these in the playroom but they would be great on any basket around the house.

 Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Great job! I've thought about doing these for a few years now...I need to just do it! Would be an easy project for my older kids to tackle with me...I think I'll add it to the Summer list!

  2. Turned out so nicely! I've been thinking about getting some of those chalkboard pens, but haven't been to Michaels yet. Love the pink ribbon! Thanks so much for the visit the other day...sorry for the delay in me returning the favor. :)

  5. This is a great idea! I use the self adhesive blackboard you can find and cut it up and stick it on all my playroom buckets...but this is so much prettier. I am going to do this.

  11. Hello, I skimmed through your posts and was struck by the fact that you too love fairy gardens! I make lots of them. Can't have enough. And that sign about finding magic? I have it too!

  12. This is a great idea. I might do the same but use dinosaur wood cut outs. (My boys are obsessed with dinos.) Michael's actually had some baskets just like the PB ones that during Easter (which I promptly snagged up). I second the idea of using Chalk-Ink pens.
