Every Memorial Day here in the Midwest you can count on seeing peonies in full bloom. They don't flower for very long but they are one of my favorites. We have a big old plant that was here when we bought our house. I always make sure to bring some in to enjoy...even if my husband thinks they stink!

Those peonie's are beautiful! I love that color. My Mother has some very similar... I need to go over there tomorrow and see if I can "steal" a few!

My peonies that I planted last year bloomed this year- finally. I was in love with them while they lasted. I am definitely getting more to plant for next year.

Peonies are my favorite flower! I love them, they are just too quick with sharing their beauty! Mine are already done for the year.:(
