Ok, now on to the photo game...starting with your first picture used in your first post and counting up to six. Here is mine...
I was hoping #6 would be a pretty after picture but it wasn't. My picture is the footboard of our daughter's big girl bed after it was stripped. Here are a few more pictures to show you how the story ends.
After some creamy white paint and an applique for the headboard and footboard this is how I envisioned it to be.
My husband and I hand painted the monogram with the faux ribbon and frame hanger. I was inspired by a picture in the Pottery Barn Kids catalog.
So there you have my 6th picture and a mini post about the little ones big girl bed.
Now I need to tag 10 bloggers to present their 6th photo. If you want to play along...what is your sixth photo?

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for tagging me! My first posts were so lame! I fight myself to delete them. But I might play; we shall see.
ReplyDeleteThat bed makeover is totally lovely! What a lucky little girl to have such a cute room and unbelievably talented mom!
Cute bed! About the BIN primer, lightly sanding and using BIN on your doors will work perfectly. You don't have to get all that old paint off the doors. I also recommend using Behr Premium Plus as the top coat because it dries harder than other latex paints. The key is to let latex cure for at least a week before closing the door, or you will pull paint off. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
ReplyDeletewow! i think this is a great post to revisit! that bed is beautiful! and your husbands free hand painting! great job! thanks for tagging me with this fun game! is it ok to do it later this week?
