The writing is on the wall

Well, I am officially used to the chalkboard wall. After one coat I almost chickened out and painted it back. I'm glad I went for it.

If you missed that whole saga, you can read about it here and here. I really do love it now...especially for winter, it has a cozy and warm feeling to it.

Mr. 65th drew Santa and his reindeer flying over the doorway...I think he did a great job!

We are Rudolph lovers so of course we had to include him!

Only one more week until Christmas, I can't believe it! This is when I want to slow things down and just enjoy the excitement of it all. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! xo

  13. It all looks SMASHING! Glad you stuck it out. I am also jelous you have an artist in the family. Maybe that is what is holding me back? Maybe if I had someone to draw some uber cute pics on the wall...I would go for it. The wall is GORGEOUS!

  14. So glad you decided to keep it. I knew it would grow on you! We had fun with my daughter's wall while taking Christmas card pictures. The girls drew word bubbles, wrote in various thoughts, and stood next to them for the pictures...they were hilarious!

  23. Londen,
I LOVE it, your hubby did a great job! I so want to do a chalkboard wall...is their any texture to your wall or is it smooth? You should have your goodies in a day or two. Are you ready for Christmas? I'm still working on it...

  28. i am so glad you left the wall black. it is spectacular and not typical. i love it and i love the sleigh drawing. writing with chalk isn't easy, at least for me it isn't. the next time you are in an argument with him, think, man he can really draw well with chalk. I think i'll keep him around.

    merry christmas.
