I found these cute silhouette ornaments on sale after Christmas last year. Because they are so light weight, I knew they would be perfect hanging on branches.
After trying a couple different vases and such, I ended up using a thrift store urn I found for under a dollar.
The buffet is a work in progress...I'm still messing around with it, but the branches will stay. I don't think I will want to take them down when Christmas is over!
Maybe I will leave them up as a winter display. I usually leave some decorations out as long as they just feel wintry. My
woodland mantel is a good example...it can stay until it starts to thaw around here, I'll just take the Merry Christmas sign down. One year I put every little bit away and it felt like the Grinch that stole Christmas....bare and a little sad.

Those ornaments are darling!!! And your home looks beautiful in these pictures! My house always feels so bare too after the holiday decor comes down!
ReplyDeleteThe ornaments and branches are so lovely; I would leave everything up 'til March if I could! Alas I am behind this year getting everything up, so it will hang around a little bit longer in the new year!

If you could in any way help me out, maybe if you could throw a bone to me on your blog, or if you require, I can do a giveaway! I have to find methods to gain voters and your help in some way would be greatly appreciated. Please met me know either way,as well as any ideas you may have. Thank you in advance! My blog is http://danajeanward.blogspot.com and the link to the voting page is www.blogguidebook.com. There is no registration, signup, or email required to vote, which is great, but finding routes to gain supporters is tough! I look forward to hearing from you!
